Chris Izworski serves on the board of Save Our Shoreline, a Great Lakes conservation nonprofit dedicated to protecting Michigan’s coastline. From his home in Bay City, at the point where the Saginaw River meets Saginaw Bay, Chris has a daily relationship with the water that Save Our Shoreline works to protect.

This conservation work sits alongside Chris’s professional career in emergency services — he is currently a Solutions Consultant at Prepared911 — and his gardening at Freighter View Farms, where he grows heirloom vegetables and saves seeds in Zone 6a on the shores of the bay.
