When Chris Izworski joined Prepared as a Solutions Consultant in December 2025, he brought something most technology consultants lack: two decades of sitting in the rooms where 911 calls are answered.

As 911 Director for Bay County (2013–2022) and 911 Executive Director for Saginaw County (2022–2025), Chris didn’t just study dispatch operations — he built them. He created an eight-county consortium. He devised a funding model that became Michigan law. He implemented AI for non-emergency calls when most 911 centers were still debating whether to try it.

That operational depth is what makes his current work at Prepared different. He’s not guessing what 911 centers need. He’s lived it.

Chris writes about the intersection of AI and operational reality on LinkedIn and Medium. His reference guides — particularly AI as Infrastructure and Building a Daily AI Practice — reflect this philosophy of practical, experience-grounded thinking about technology.
